On August 21, 1975 in Kansas City, Missouri, Pastor B. Armond Harris, the second of four children and only son of Bishop Jethro Harris Jr. and Delores Harris, was born.
Early in his life, Pastor Harris began to develop an appreciation for the Word of God as he travelled with his family on ministry trips throughout the United States. Despite being reared within the confines of strict religious teaching, Pastor Harris spiraled into a lifestyle of hypocrisy, addictions, and unhealthy relationships that left him in a place of separation from God. It wasn't until the age of sixteen, while witnessing the simultaneous water and Holy Spirit baptism of an adolescent friend that Pastor Harris began to take God seriously. It was that day, December 23, 1991, that he received baptism of the Holy Spirit, an experience that he describes as the greatest experience of his life. Pastor Harris then embarked on a journey of seeking God through prayer, fasting and a consistent study of the Word of God.
In 1993, Pastor Harris answered the call to ministry. Since that time he has served in various ministries as Assistant Pastor, Associate Minister, Minister of Music, Worship Leader, Armor-bearer and Evangelist. He presently serves as Senior Pastor and Founder of Ablaze Ministries in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He, along with his beautiful wife Pastor Kimberly and lovely daughter Kianna moved to Fayetteville in Faith in the summer of 2007 where they launched Ablaze Ministries in their humble apartment.
Pastor Harris and Ablaze Ministries now serve the Northwest Arkansas region from their present location at 93 W. Colt Square Drive in Fayetteville. Pastor Harris' aim is to "reach them, teach them, and keep them." Pastor Harris' prayer is that God will use him to ignite a revival that will spread like wildfire throughout the earth - that men, women, boys and girls will fall on their faces before God and repent, be baptized and be filled with the power of the precious Holy Ghost.
